What is your theme for 2026?

I’ve found that choosing a theme for the year is far more powerful than setting New Year’s resolutions. It’s the small decisions we make that set the trajectory of our lives. At each tiny fork in the road, I try to choose the path that takes me toward more of what I want.
Last year my theme was expansion.
I expanded my team by bringing on a new strategy coach, the wonderful Jo Mahoney. Together we supported 40 fellows through the African Researcher Accelerator, with many of those graduates going on to develop compelling brands and online profiles with our Visibility team.
I also expanded my personal life: two joyful weeks visiting family in Thailand, joining a book club, reading deeply, and completing a poetry collection.
This year my theme is luxury.
After seven years of building a business, I’m ready to luxuriate in what I’ve created, and to redefine luxury as care, presence, and depth. I want my clients to feel nourished by my personalised attention and by my wonderful team. To work in this way, I need to take very good care of myself too: wild swimming, unhurried time with friends and family, and sustained investment in creative pursuits.
